Jesus is condemned to death

John 19:14–16

Jesus is innocent, yet Pilate gives in to the crowd and condemns him. Think of the times fear has kept you silent or led you to judge someone unfairly.

Lord Jesus, give me courage to stand for truth and to see the dignity of every person.

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you, because by your holy Cross you have redeemed the world.
